Trefoil

Birdsfoot trefoil is a long-lived perennial. It is a leafy legume with fine stems and produces a high quality forage. It works well with grass and can be used for hay or pasture. Trefoil does well in wetter areas where alfalfa may not persist.  MAPLESEED carries a couple of improved varieties of Birdsfoot Trefoil which are suited to hay or pasture use.
